On August 8, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Plan No. 203/KH-UBND on organizing the Hanoi Autumn Festival in 2023.
The 2023 Hanoi Autumn Festival with the theme "Autumn Hanoi - Come to love", is an opportunity to promote the beauty, cultural and tourism values, exploit the uniqueness, attractiveness, honor the scenic spots, relics, and heritage of the capital Hanoi - an attractive, quality and safe tourist destination.
The Hanoi Autumn Festival also introduces the unique values of craft villages and Hanoi's cultural heritage - values considered the quintessence of the whole country with distinct characteristics.
The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion to be the implementing agency. Coordinating agencies include the Departments of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Foreign Affairs, Health, Transport, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, and the City Police; People's Committees of the districts of Hoan Kiem, Tay Ho, Ba Dinh, Dong Anh, Thanh Oai, Me Linh, My Duc and districts, towns and cities with tourism development potential, and tourist attractions in Hanoi.
As planned, the 2023 Hanoi Autumn Festival will take place from September 29 to October 1 at: Ba Kieu Temple Flower Garden, Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Le Thach Street (Hoan Kiem District) and a number of districts in the city.
