DNVN - On the evening of February 2, at Furama Resort Da Nang, the event series "Journey through Vietnamese cuisine " was officially announced with the aim of promoting the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine to a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.
Mr. Gentzsch Andre Pierre - General Director of Operations of Furama - Ariyana Danang Tourism Complex said that according to the plan, in each quarter of 2024, at the culinary and heritage resort Furama Resort Danang, there will be a promotion program, performances by 4 leading Vietnamese chefs and a culinary party night to serve tourists.

In particular, in January 2025, there will be a gala night “Quintessence of Reunion” with the participation of 12 Vietnamese culinary heritage artists to establish an Asian record. The above mentioned series of culinary events will be accompanied by an Advisory Board including Ms. Mai Thi Tra – Vietnamese folk artist and Mr. Le Tan – Culinary culture researcher.
According to Mr. Le Tan, over the years, Furama Resort Danang has done a good job of promoting culinary culture to domestic and foreign tourists. This series of events with the orientation of "Honoring tradition - Creating the future" promises to transform Vietnamese dishes to suit the tastes of residents around the world, to increasingly bring Vietnamese culinary culture further into the international arena, becoming a national brand.
Mr. Gentzsch Andre Pierre emphasized that, famous as the top culinary and heritage resort in Vietnam, Furama Resort Danang always aims to develop, associated with tourism activities, unique culinary events, to honor and promote local culture.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh - General Director of Bac My An Tourist Area Joint Stock Company, the unit managing and operating the Furama - Ariyana Danang Tourist Complex, said that the series of events "Journey through Vietnamese cuisine" is an effort of Furama Resort Danang in the direction of contributing to turning the city on the Han River into the "kitchen of the world".
Notably, Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh said that the 2023 Da Nang Chef Talent Competition hosted by Furama Resort Da Nang was selected by the United States Poultry and Egg Export Council (USAPEEC) as the world's professional chef competition. "That means the echo of the Da Nang Chef Talent Competition has spread to the world, not just stopping in Vietnam," said Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh.
