Nearly 1,000 officials in Phu Tho will be trained in AI

The People's Committee of Phu Tho province has just issued a training plan for cadres, civil servants and public employees to equip and supplement knowledge, skills and methods to perform tasks in public service activities.

Of which, 960 students (12 classes) are officials and civil servants at all levels who will be trained to improve their knowledge and skills in digital transformation; applying artificial intelligence (AI) to serve management, operation and data governance activities associated with national digital transformation.

320 provincial officials will be trained to improve their knowledge and skills in analyzing, synthesizing, developing scenarios, and assessing the impact of policies in advising on legal documents. These officials will also be trained in policy communication.

The Department of Home Affairs of Phu Tho province is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance to develop estimates and plans for selecting contractors to organize training courses for officials and civil servants; synthesize and report to the People's Committee of Phu Tho province and the Ministry of Home Affairs according to regulations.

The three provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, and Hoa Binh will merge into Phu Tho province, with the administrative and political center located in the current Viet Tri city.

The new Phu Tho province has a natural area of 9,361.381 km2, a population of over 4 million people and 148 commune-level administrative units under the province.
