Nearly 1,500 high school students receive career counseling

Attending the program were Mr. Phan Minh Tung – Deputy Director of the Departmentof Education and Training. On behalf of Van Lang University, there were Dr. Vo Van Tuan – Permanent Vice Principal; Dr. Ngo Quang Trung – Vice Principal; Prof. Dr. Vo Nguyen Quoc Bao – Vice Principal of Van Lang University, Principal of Van Lang School of Technology; and 1,500 students from 9 high schools in the province.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Phan Minh Tung - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training said: "This is a very useful activity for students to accurately assess their abilities. Thereby, they can choose a suitable career for themselves, so that after graduation, they can contribute to building their homeland and country."

At the program, students are consulted by officers and lecturers of Van Lang University about 60 majors and occupations trained at the school; joint training programs with international schools; the school's admission form... In addition, students are oriented and consulted about choosing majors and occupations suitable to their abilities, strengths and the needs of society.

Students enthusiastically participated in the exchange.

Students also participate in 30 activities to experience the training fields and professions of Van Lang University such as: architecture; engineering - technology; fine arts and design; health sciences ; tourism; arts, media... to help them have more useful information to have orientations for the future; interact with students to learn about the learning environment and scholarship programs at Van Lang University.

Participating in the program, Nguyen Huynh Tram, a student of class 11A11, Ly Thuong Kiet High School, said that the program is very meaningful. Through the program, students can learn and experience the reality of different fields of study. Through that, they will find their favorite field of study, suitable for their abilities and future career opportunities.

Students get hands-on experience in their fields of study.

Dr. Vo Van Tuan - Permanent Vice President of Van Lang University said that in 2025, the university will enroll 60 full-time undergraduate training majors (standard programs) and 16 special training programs. The university also provides practical scholarship policies for students with outstanding academic ability and achievements nationwide.

“Van Lang Unitour 2025 is one of the important activities to connect the school with high school students. Through the program, we hope to bring students useful information and practical experiences, helping them confidently choose a major that suits their abilities and interests" - Dr. Vo Van Tuan said.

Van Lang University awards scholarships to students with outstanding achievements in study and extracurricular activities.

Within the framework of the program, Van Lang University awarded 22 scholarships to students of Tay Ninh province, to encourage the learning spirit of those with outstanding achievements in studying and movement activities.
