On May 22, in Si Ma Cai district, the provincial Department of Finance coordinated with the People's Committee of Si Ma Cai district to organize a training course to improve financial and budget management capacity associated with the autonomy mechanism of public service units for nearly 100 trainees (account holders, accountants of agencies and budget units at the district level; principals and accountants of schools with separate accounts) in Si Ma Cai district.
On May 22 and 23, the trainees will receive 3 topics from Dr. Nguyen Thi My, lecturer at the Institute of Accounting and Auditing, National Economics University, Hanoi: New points of Decree 60/2021/ND-CP and the financial autonomy mechanism of public service units according to Decree 60/2021/ND-CP; financial and budget management of public service units according to the State Budget Law 2015 and related legal documents; public asset management according to the Law on Management and Use of Public Assets 2017, Circular 45/2018/TT-BTC and related documents.
The training course is organized with the aim of supporting and helping agencies and administrative units in Si Ma Cai district to remove and overcome obstacles, difficulties and errors in the process of implementing mechanisms and procedures related to financial and accounting activities at the units, thereby managing and using the budget, money and state assets effectively and economically. This is also an opportunity for state accountants to receive new information and comments from administrative units on auditing activities, thereby promoting positive aspects, overcoming limitations and shortcomings in auditing work, and performing well the assigned functions and tasks.
