Nearly 100 Binh Giang women shine in the 'Charming Ao Dai' contest

Participating in the competition were 9 teams from grassroots trade union clusters of communes and towns: Ke Sat, Long Xuyen, Binh Xuyen, Thai Minh, Tan Hong, Thuc Khang, Hung Thang and the Trade Unions of Binh Giang District Medical Center and Grandocean Company Limited.

Each team will select 8-12 contestants to perform in Ao Dai to music of their choice for a maximum of 5 minutes (including commentary and performance). Scoring will be based on the criteria of costume, performance style and commentary.

At the end of the competition, the team from the Ke Sat town union cluster won first prize. The Long Xuyen commune union cluster won second prize. Third prize went to the Binh Xuyen and Thai Minh commune union clusters.

The contest aims to create a healthy and useful cultural playground for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to express their confidence, solidarity and creativity through the beauty of Vietnamese Ao Dai.
