According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, the number of candidates registering for university and college admission in 2025 is 849,544 people; the number of registered admission wishes is 7,615,560 wishes. On average, each candidate registered 8.96 wishes.

On the afternoon of July 28, the Ministry of Education and Training announced statistics on university and college admissions in 2025. As of 5:00 p.m. on July 28, 849,544 candidates had registered for admission with a total of 7,615,560 wishes. Thus, on average, each candidate registered for 8.96 wishes.

The rate of candidates registering for admission accounts for more than 73% of the number of candidates taking the high school graduation exam in 2025.

The Ministry of Education and Training said that the number of candidates registering for admission in 2025 increased by 115,892 candidates because there were candidates registering for admission to vocational colleges and the above data is a quick statistic; currently, there are still some candidates who have submitted their registration information close to the end of the admission period, so the system is continuing to process.
