Placing a signboard to welcome the 1st Congress of the Van Don Special Zone Party Committee, term 2025-2030

To welcome the 1st Congress of the Van Don Special Zone Party Committee, term 2025-2030, on July 31, Van Don Special Zone organized the installation of signs for 4 typical projects, which are of important significance in developing urban infrastructure, education and promoting socio-economic development in the locality, including: Cai Rong Secondary School; Ha Long I Primary School; Intersection of the road connecting Van Don 3 bridge to Doan Ket resettlement area (phase 1); Upgrading and repairing the road across Ngoc Vung island.

The Cai Rong Secondary School project started in September 2023 and was completed in August 2024, with a total investment of 100 billion VND from the special zone budget. On a planned area of ​​0.86 hectares, the project will invest in the construction of new, synchronous items: a 3-storey head office building, two 4-storey school buildings, a system of yards, gates, fences, electricity and drainage, fire prevention and fighting, auxiliary technical infrastructure, etc.

The Ha Long 1 Primary School project will be implemented from July 2023 and completed in April 2025, with a total investment of 102 billion VND from the special zone budget; including main items such as: Theory classroom, subject classroom, administration building combined with library, garage - kitchen, connecting toilet with synchronous technical systems such as electricity, water, termite prevention, fire prevention and auxiliary works.

The project of the Interchange of the connecting road from Van Don 3 Bridge to Doan Ket Resettlement Area (Phase 1) will be implemented from July 2023 to February 2025, with a total length of 500.52m, the starting point connecting to DT. 334 road at Km2 + 815, the end point connecting to Doan Ket Resettlement Area. The route is designed with a load capacity of 12 tons, completing 2 intersections at the beginning and end of the route and accompanying technical items; the total investment is 48 billion VND from the special zone budget and support from the province.

The project to upgrade and repair the road across Ngoc Vung and Van Don islands has a length of 6.15km; invest in a synchronous lighting system, ensuring traffic safety; sidewalks, drainage ditches; cross-road drainage culverts; sea-side protection embankments; move and restore technical infrastructure systems...

The selection and installation of plaques for typical works demonstrates the political determination of the Party Committee, government and people of Van Don special economic zone in competing to achieve practical achievements to welcome the 1st Party Congress of the special economic zone, contributing to building Van Don to develop more synchronously, modernly and sustainably.
