Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Coast Guard Command, Major General Le Quang Dao commended and congratulated Major Luc Thai Ha and Captain Vu Quang Khai on being selected to perform UN peacekeeping missions at the MINUSCA Mission, Central African Republic and UNISFA Mission, Abyei region, respectively.
He emphasized: From marines to blue berets, the Vietnam Coast Guard is proud to have contributed its excellent officers to become peace messengers of the Fatherland.

Major General Le Quang Dao requested Major Luc Thai Ha and Captain Vu Quang Khai to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the foreign policies and viewpoints of the Party, State and Army; strictly comply with the discipline and regulations of the United Nations at the Mission and the laws of the host country; promote the tradition of the Vietnam People's Army, the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, and the Coast Guard soldiers in a difficult area such as the Central African Republic and the Abyei region, determined to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and excellently fulfill the responsibilities and tasks entrusted by the Party, State, Army and people.

Major Luc Thai Ha and Captain Vu Quang Khai prepare to depart for a United Nations peacekeeping mission.

It is known that before leaving for their mission, Major Luc Thai Ha, former Assistant to the International Relations Department, Coast Guard Command, and Captain Vu Quang Khai, former Deputy Captain of CSB 8020 ship, of Squadron 32, Coast Guard Region 3 Command, underwent training at the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department and successfully completed the training content, ready to depart in their assigned positions as Intelligence Officer at the MINUSCA Mission, Central African Republic and Military Observer Officer at the UNISFA Mission, Abyei region for a period of 1 year, from February 2024 and March 2024, respectively.

At the meeting, representing the comrades preparing to depart for their missions, Major Luc Thai Ha thanked the leaders of the Coast Guard Command for their attention; at the same time, he said that he had prepared well in all aspects and was ready to depart for the United Nations peacekeeping mission; he affirmed that he would actively learn, quickly adapt to the new working environment, promote a sense of responsibility and creativity to fulfill his assigned duties and tasks, thereby contributing to spreading the image of Vietnamese people who love peace.
