On May 22, the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association (VCCA) announced the establishment of the Vietnam Young Chefs Association (YCA) with the goal of connecting young chefs and developing the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine to the world .

YCA participates in implementing projects, accompanies VCCA in culinary cultural exchange events, bringing to the community knowledge and values of the country's cuisine .

Also within the framework of the event, TVHub Company cooperated with the VTV3 Entertainment Program Production Board to introduce the program Top Chef Vietnam - Top Chef 2023 with the message "Making Vietnamese cuisine's mark on the world's banquet table", scheduled to premiere at 8:30 p.m. on June 12.

Launching of the Vietnam Young Chefs Association on May 22

Top Chef Vietnam has the mission of searching and discovering Vietnamese talents in the culinary field. There are 16 professional chefs participating in the challenges this time.

The winning chef will be crowned Top Chef Vietnam champion, with a prize of 300 million VND and scholarships to prestigious culinary schools and will represent Vietnam in international culinary competitions.

Tourists at the food festival taking place in Ho Chi Minh City

On the same day, the Institute for Research on Development and Preservation of Southeast Asian Culture and Arts announced that from May 25 to 28, at Hoa Lu Sports Center (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), the first Southeast Asian - Vietnamese Culture and Cuisine Festival will take place.

Guests enjoy cuisine at the meeting introducing the Southeast Asian - Vietnamese Cultural and Culinary Festival

The festival attracted over 200 booths (restaurants, hotels, tourism businesses, food processing facilities...) introducing and serving traditional dishes, specialties... selected from localities in Vietnam as well as some countries in the Southeast Asian region.

In addition, the festival also includes performances, preparation of traditional dishes, honoring skilled chefs, folk games, performances of ancient and traditional costumes from the country and internationally...
