Similarly, coffee prices in Dak Lak province are at VND130,800/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province remained unchanged and were traded at VND130,700/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices remained unchanged at VND130,200/kg.

The domestic coffee market is entering the 5-day April 30 - May 1 holiday, so domestic coffee prices will not fluctuate this week.
According to statistics, in the first 6 months of the 2024-2025 crop, Vietnam exported about 700,000 tons of coffee, equivalent to 50% of total output. Mr. Hiep estimated that farmers currently only hold about 20% of the goods, the rest is mainly in business warehouses and waiting to be exported.
Since the beginning of the season, domestic coffee prices have remained above VND110,000/kg. Unlike previous years, when prices fell below VND40,000/kg, forcing farmers to sell off, they now have stronger financial resources thanks to good income from coffee, durian, pepper and areca nuts. Thanks to that, they proactively sell off portions to keep agricultural product prices stable.
This year, the financial costs of storing coffee have increased, forcing many businesses to only buy enough and fix prices in small lots to limit risks. Therefore, farmers are the ones who regulate the market, not businesses or international buyers.
World coffee prices today
Coffee prices on the world market increased sharply on both exchanges:
Robusta Coffee (London):
July 2025 delivery: Up 87 USD/ton, to 5,385 USD/ton.
Delivery September 2025: Up 84 USD/ton, to 5,335 USD/ton.
Arabica Coffee (New York):
July 2025 delivery: Up 2.65 cents/lb, to 402.45 cents/lb.
September 2025 delivery: Up 2.85 cents/lb, to 394.85 cents/lb.
The global coffee market continues to face the risk of supply shortage, especially Robusta coffee, Vietnam's main export product. This scarcity has been the main driving force for Robusta coffee prices in the country and the world to remain at a high level since last year.
The Brazilian real rose to a three-week high against the dollar on April 28, making Brazilian coffee producers less eager to sell, helping to support coffee prices.
According to a report from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), global coffee production in 2024 will increase by about 4% compared to last year, reaching 10.5 million tons. This result is due to more favorable weather conditions and advances in farming techniques in many countries.
However, despite the bright spots, the coffee industry has been negatively affected by extreme weather events such as El Niño. Severe droughts have hit major producing countries such as Brazil and Vietnam, threatening production potential in upcoming seasons and raising concerns about global supplies.
