Coffee price today September 25, 2024: Strong increase

Specifically, in Di Linh, Lam Ha, Bao Loc districts ( Lam Dong ), today's coffee price is purchased at 120,200 VND/kg.

In Cu M'gar district ( Dak Lak ), today's coffee price is at 120,700 VND/kg. In Ea H'leo district ( Dak Lak ), Buon Ho ( Dak Lak ), today's coffee price is purchased at the same level of 120,600 VND/kg.

Similarly in Dak Nong province, today's coffee purchase price is at 120,700 VND/kg in Gia Nghia and 120,600 VND/kg in Dak R'lap.

In Gia Lai province, coffee price today is at 120,700 VND/kg (Chu Prong), in Pleiku and La Grai the price is 120,600 VND/kg.

Today's coffee price in Kon Tum province is purchased at 120,700 VND/kg.

Dak Nong sees future challenges for coffee exports, especially to Europe, due to new regulations. Pham Tuan Anh, director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, said the province’s forest management and agricultural production are progressing well and are in line with EURD standards.

The province has focused on forest protection and not converting forests to agricultural production, helping to comply with EUDR regulations and protect the environment. Dak Nong businesses and people are cultivating 23,500 hectares of coffee, with an output of 82,000 tons/year, meeting international standards such as GlobalGAP and Organic, helping to access international and EU markets.

Dak Nong focuses on international cooperation and has worked with UNDP and IDH to develop sustainable coffee. The province is converting coffee production to organic with 100ha certified and many more areas applying this method.

The projects focus on sustainable landscape management, forest protection and improving coffee productivity and quality, supporting EUDR compliance. Current coffee production results help Dak Nong comply with EUDR and open up sustainable development opportunities for the coffee export industry.

At the end of the most recent trading session, the price of Robusta coffee in London for November 2024 delivery increased by 93 USD/ton, at 5,369 USD/ton, and for January 2025 delivery increased by 87 USD/ton, at 5,090 USD/ton.

Arabica coffee prices for December 2024 delivery increased by 5.25 cents/lb to 268.90 cents/lb, and for March 2025 delivery increased by 5.50 cents/lb to 266.80 cents/lb.
