On the London floor, at 4:30 a.m. on May 30, 2025, at the end of the trading session, Robusta coffee prices maintained a downward trend, down from 26 - 39 USD/ton compared to yesterday's trading session, fluctuating between 4,407 - 4,642 USD/ton. Specifically, the delivery price for July 2025 is 4,566 USD/ton; the delivery price for September 2025 is 4,530 USD/ton; the delivery price for November 2025 is 4,491 USD/ton and the delivery price for January 2026 is 4,435 USD/ton.

Arabica coffee price on New York floor on May 30, 2025

Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor in the early morning of May 30 continued to decrease, decreasing by 3.55 - 4.40 cents/lb compared to yesterday's trading session, fluctuating between 334.90 - 357.30 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period in July 2025 is 348.40 cents/lb; the delivery period in September 2025 is 345.60 cents/lb; the delivery period in December 2025 is 341.25 cents/lb and the delivery period in March 2026 is 336.35 cents/lb.

Brazilian Arabica coffee price on May 30, 2025

At the end of the trading session, the price of Brazilian Arabica coffee tended to increase and decrease across delivery terms, fluctuating between 426.90 - 449.65 USD/ton. Recorded as follows: July 2025 delivery period is 449.65 USD/ton; September 2025 delivery period is 427.60 USD/ton; December 2025 delivery period is 416.55 and March 2026 delivery period is 421.20 USD/ton.

Robusta coffee traded on the ICE Futures Europe (London exchange) opens at 16:00 and closes at 00:30 (next day) Vietnam time. Arabica coffee traded on the ICE Futures US (New York exchange) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day) Vietnam time. For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will open from 19:00 - 02:35 (next day) Vietnam time.

According to information from Giacaphe.com, updated at 4:30 a.m. today, May 30, 2025, coffee prices in the Central Highlands provinces continued to decrease, decreasing by 2,000 - 2,200 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Currently, the average coffee purchase price in key areas is at 120,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 120,000 VND/kg, coffee price in Lam Dong is 119,700 VND/kg, coffee price in Gia Lai is 120,000 VND/kg and coffee price in Dak Nong today is 120,200 VND/kg.

The domestic coffee prices that Giacaphe.com lists every day are calculated based on the prices of two world coffee exchanges combined with continuous surveys from businesses and purchasing agents in key coffee growing areas across the country.

According to experts, the world coffee market has just experienced its third consecutive week of price decline, bringing the price level back to its lowest level since mid-April 2025. This development mainly stems from the increasing trend of global coffee inventories, especially in the two major consuming regions of Europe and the US.

At the same time, positive forecasts for Brazil’s coffee output in the 2025/2026 crop year have prompted many investors to accelerate early profit-taking activities. In addition, the strong appreciation of the US dollar in recent times has also put additional downward pressure on coffee, which is traded in this currency.

According to the General Department of Customs, in the first 5 months of 2025, Vietnam exported nearly 740,000 tons of coffee, with a turnover of 4.2 billion USD. Although coffee exports decreased in volume, thanks to high export prices, the turnover increased by 56% compared to the same period in 2024.

Accordingly, the average coffee export price in the first 5 months of this year reached more than 5,700 USD/ton. The European Union continues to be the largest coffee consuming market of Vietnam, accounting for about 40% of export turnover and recording outstanding growth.

Previously, in April 2025, the average export price of Vietnamese coffee was at 5,797 USD/ton, down 1.9% compared to March 2025 but still up slightly 0.2% compared to April 2024. The average export price of coffee in the first 4 months of 2025 reached 5,700 USD/ton, up 67.6% over the same period in 2024.

Experts say that coffee exports from Vietnam are currently facing difficulties due to many factors. Among them, ports in Northern Europe are congested due to labor shortages and waterway traffic is difficult due to low water levels, affecting transportation activities. At the same time, shipping costs have also increased sharply recently because China has increased exports after the US postponed tariffs, making it more difficult to book shipping vessels.
