The Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital (HCMC) has just issued a warning about the tricks used to defraud blood donors in order to defraud and appropriate property. According to the hospital, high-tech criminals currently have many sophisticated tricks to defraud and appropriate property.

Some subjects impersonating the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital called blood donors, citing abnormalities and asking for CCCD/VNeID photos, adding Zalo friends to "guide registration for examination and testing".

In this situation, the hospital recommends that people do not provide personal information (ID card, phone number, address, bank account, OTP code...) to strangers or when their identity has not been clearly verified. The hospital only sends official notifications via SMS brandname "BV.TMHH".

People are absolutely not asked to pay money following instructions via phone, text message or accessing strange links.

When receiving a suspicious call, stay calm, do not follow instructions, and contact the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital for verification via the following numbers: (028) 3957 1718, (028) 38555995, (028) 3955 7858, 0919 660 010.

The Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital believes that the above behavior is a violation of the law, causing confusion for blood donors and affecting the hospital's reputation.

"We recommend that everyone be vigilant, do not follow the requests of strangers, and share this warning information with the community. When detecting fraudulent behavior, immediately report it to the nearest police station," the hospital warned.
