Pig price developments on November 19
According to the record on the morning of November 19, the price of live pigs across the country increased by 1,000 to 2,000 VND/kg. Currently, the purchase price of live pigs across the country is fluctuating between 46,000 and 51,000 VND/kg.
Northern market
The price of live pigs in the North recorded the highest increase of 2,000 VND/kg, bringing the purchasing price in the region to about 48,000 - 51,000 VND/kg. The highest price in the region was recorded in Hai Phong and Ninh Binh at 51,000 VND/kg. Other localities such as Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Phu Tho and Hung Yen also traded at 50,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, prices in Dien Bien, Son La and Hanoi remained unchanged.
Central Highlands market
In the Central Highlands region, the price of live pigs also increased, fluctuating between 46,000 and 49,000 VND/kg. Specifically, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An both increased by 2,000 VND/kg, to 49,000 VND/kg. Dak Lak and Gia Lai also recorded an increase of 1,000 VND/kg, reaching 48,000 VND/kg and 47,000 VND/kg, respectively. The remaining provinces maintained stable prices compared to yesterday.
Southern market
The southern live hog market also recorded a slight increase. The purchase price here is currently fluctuating from 48,000 - 50,000 VND/kg. Dong Thap and Vinh Long both increased by 1,000 VND/kg, to 49,000 VND/kg and 48,000 VND/kg, respectively. Ca Mau continues to be the locality with the highest price in the South at 50,000 VND/kg, while Vinh Long recorded the lowest price in the region at 48,000 VND/kg.
