Pig price on November 18, 2025: Central region slightly decreased, North and South stable

DNVN - The price of live pigs on November 18 showed a slight downward trend in some central provinces, while the northern and southern regions remained stable. The highest price is currently 50,000 VND/kg in Hanoi and Ca Mau, while the lowest price of 46,000 VND/kg was recorded in many central provinces.

Pig price in the North

In the Northern region, the market this morning generally did not see many changes. Hanoi was the only locality to record an increase, adding 1,000 VND/kg, raising the price to 50,000 VND/kg - the highest in the region.

The provinces of Bac Ninh , Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho and Hung Yen still maintain the purchase price at 49,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the group of provinces of Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Dien Bien and Son La continue to maintain the price at 48,000 VND/kg. Lai Chau alone is still the locality with the lowest price in the region, reaching 47,000 VND/kg.

Thus, in the North, the price of live pigs today is recorded in the range of 47,000 VND/kg to 50,000 VND/kg.

Pig price in the Central Highlands

The Central Highlands region continued to witness a decline this morning in many localities.

Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang and Quang Ngai provinces all reduced the price by 1,000 VND/kg, bringing it to 46,000 VND/kg. Gia Lai had the deepest decrease in the region, losing 2,000 VND/kg to 46,000 VND/kg.

In contrast, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Dak Lak provinces still maintained the price at 47,000 VND/kg. Ha Tinh maintained the price at 46,000 VND/kg, Khanh Hoa was stable at 48,000 VND/kg, and Lam Dong continued to lead the region with 49,000 VND/kg.

Thus, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands fluctuates between 46,000 VND/kg and 49,000 VND/kg.

Pig price in the South

In the South, the market remained stable, except for Dong Nai, which slightly decreased by VND1,000/kg to VND49,000/kg.

Tay Ninh, An Giang, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho provinces are still trading at around 49,000 VND/kg. Dong Thap remains at 48,000 VND/kg, Vinh Long continues to have the lowest price in the region at 47,000 VND/kg, while Ca Mau leads with 50,000 VND/kg.

Thus, the price of live pigs in the South today is recorded at around 47,000 VND/kg to 50,000 VND/kg.
