According to the signed agreement, T&T Group and Ca Mau province will cooperate to study the opening of a direct flight route from Hanoi to Ca Mau operated by Vietravel Airlines (a member of T&T Group). The route is expected to shorten travel time and create new momentum for tourism, trade and investment.
The Group also surveyed and proposed a civil project in the Hon Khoai port area following the model of a high-end urban and tourism complex combined with entertainment. Along with that, the enterprise researched a 1,000-hectare onshore sea encroachment logistics area (the section adjacent to the bridge connecting the mainland and Hon Khoai port 17 km) following the service and logistics model to serve clean energy production and port logistics.
Another cooperation agreement is that this group will research and survey the urban, commercial and service complex associated with port logistics with a scale of about 3,000 - 5,000 hectares located in Dat Mui commune and Phan Ngoc Hien commune. The project is developed according to the port urban model (City Port) - a type of urban area closely associated with seaport operations. The complex includes port - industrial - logistics areas; transitional areas; urban development areas and rear areas.
Nam Can Economic Zone - which is directly connected to the international maritime trade route - is also being considered for developing an industrial - logistics ecosystem.
In addition, a representative of T&T Group said that they will survey and research investment in the Ca Mau Airport Urban Area with a scale of about 1,000 hectares following the model of Changi Airport (Singapore). With the airport located at the core, the surrounding areas are planned to become economic, financial, commercial, tourism and entertainment complexes.
In terms of transport infrastructure, T&T Group will invest in the expressway connecting Ca Mau City (old) and Bac Lieu City (old) with Highway 33 (Ho Chi Minh City - Tien Giang - Soc Trang) intersecting with Ca Mau - Dat Mui Expressway, forming a coastal transport corridor with a length of about 81 km, in the form of public-private partnership (PPP).
According to the group's representative, this traffic route not only expands the space for urban, industrial, logistics and tourism development, but also promotes the regional connectivity role of Ca Mau airport and Hon Khoai port.
In the energy sector, T&T proposed investing in renewable energy projects in the 2026-2030 period with an estimated capacity of about 1,000 MW, in line with the province's emission reduction orientation and clean energy development planning.
