DNVN - On October 23, 2024, the price of live pigs nationwide remained stable, with no significant fluctuations in many localities as the market was showing signs of slowing down.
Pig price in the North
According to records in the morning session of October 23, the price of live pigs in the northern provinces remained at 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.
Notably, the highest price of VND64,000/kg was reported in Hung Yen, Hai Duong and Hanoi. Meanwhile, the lowest price in this region was VND62,000/kg, recorded in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh.
Pig price in Central Highlands
In the Central and Central Highlands regions, the price of live pigs has not changed, still fluctuating from 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.
Of which, traders in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An purchased live pigs at 63,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region. In contrast, Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa had the lowest price, only 60,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in the South
The Southern region also recorded a stable trend in this morning's trading session. In the provinces and cities, the price of live pigs fluctuated between 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, Ben Tre recorded the lowest price in the region, 60,000 VND/kg, while other localities still maintained prices from 62,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.
Some experts say that today's live pig prices are not fluctuating in many localities because the market is currently showing signs of sideways movement.
