(GLO)- The People's Council of Gia Lai province has just issued resolutions approving the list of works and projects requiring land recovery and conversion of additional rice-growing land use purposes to be implemented in 2023 in the area.
Specifically, in Resolution No. 225/NQ-HDND, the Provincial People's Council approved the list of works and projects requiring additional land acquisition to be implemented in 2023 with an area of 103.94 hectares to implement 17 works and projects; estimated compensation and site clearance costs of more than VND 54.4 billion (budgets at all levels and other capital sources) and actual compensation and site clearance costs implemented according to the approval decision of competent state agencies.
In Resolution No. 226/NQ-HDND, the Provincial People's Council approved the list of 2 works and projects with the purpose of changing the use of 1.4 hectares of additional rice-growing land to be implemented in 2023: Chu Se-Chu Puh-Chu Prong inter-district road (in Chu Don and Ia Rong communes, the converted area is 1 hectare) and 500Kv double-circuit transmission line - Nhon Hoa Wind Power Plant phase 2 (in Ia Blu, Ia Phang and Chu Don communes, the converted area is 0.41 hectares).
The Provincial People's Council assigned the Provincial People's Committee to deploy and implement the resolutions.
The Provincial People's Committee also issued an Official Dispatch, assigning the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and district-level People's Committees to implement the above Resolutions according to regulations.
