Fertilizer price today May 8: Remain stable

In the Central region, urea prices of major brands such as Phu My and Ninh Binh fluctuate between 590,000 - 630,000 VND/bag.

NPK fertilizers also remained at the same price as the previous days. NPK 20-20-15 Dau Trau was sold for 950,000 - 980,000 VND/bag, while Song Gianh fertilizer ranged from 910,000 - 930,000 VND/bag.

NPK 16-16-8 products of Dau Trau, Phu My and Lao Cai still fluctuate from 700,000 to 740,000 VND/bag depending on the type. Potassium and Phosphate fertilizers also have no new price adjustments, still at the common level of 270,000 - 560,000 VND/bag.

In the Southwest region, the fertilizer market also remained stable. The price of Ca Mau and Phu My urea fluctuated between 590,000 - 630,000 VND/bag.

Notably, Hong Ha DAP continues to maintain the highest price, from 1,250,000 - 1,300,000 VND/bag. Meanwhile, Dinh Vu DAP has a softer price, ranging from 840,000 - 870,000 VND/bag.

Ca Mau Potassium fertilizer is currently priced at 500,000 - 530,000 VND/bag. NPK 16-16-8 lines from many brands such as Ca Mau, Phu My and Viet Nhat are all in the price range of 600,000 - 650,000 VND/bag.

NPK 20-20-15 fertilizer of Ba Con Co brand also maintains the same price from 870,000 - 900,000 VND/bag.

The sideways price situation shows that the fertilizer market is stable in the short term, without any clear driving force from seasonal demand or fluctuations in input costs. Agents, businesses and farmers are still closely monitoring supply and demand developments to have appropriate import plans in the coming time.
