Hai Phong puts up signs for the City's Political - Administrative Center and Conference - Performance Center

On the afternoon of May 11, at the North Cam River urban area, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City held a ceremony to attach a signboard to the City's Political - Administrative Center and Conference - Performance Center to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Hai Phong - Heroic City (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025) and the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025.

Attending the program were comrades: Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, former Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee; Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation; Le Anh Quan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and units of the city.

On the side of Hai Duong province, there were comrades: Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vu Hong Hien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee, attending.

Hai Phong City Political - Administrative Center is built on an area of ​​over 29,000 m2, total floor area of ​​89,500 m2, with a total investment of over 2,831 billion VND.

The project consists of 14 blocks of buildings built symmetrically along the East-West and North-South axes. Of which, the two central blocks are 15 stories high. 12 low-rise blocks are arranged symmetrically in an arc shape opening to the North and South directions.

Inside the buildings, conference rooms, offices, lobbies, corridors and functional rooms are designed in a modern style, ensuring maximum use of natural light and optimal efficiency. Outside the buildings are auxiliary technical systems: gardens, parking lots, internal roads, etc.

The Hai Phong City Convention and Performance Center project has a total investment of more than 2,570 billion VND, also from the city budget. The project has a scale of 3 floors with a large hall with a capacity of up to 1,500 seats, in addition to a multi-purpose hall with nearly 500 seats, a round table meeting room with 100 seats and more than 10 small meeting rooms with 20 to 100 seats/room.

The center meets the conditions and standards to organize large-scale political, foreign affairs, conferences and art performances of national and international significance.

Comrade Le Anh Quan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee issued an order to put up signs for the constructions.

In addition to the impressive construction scale, the works have unique architecture, both modern and connecting the identity, characteristics of natural conditions, history and culture of the coastal area of ​​Hai Phong.

The basic works completed, with signs attached and put into use have special significance, contributing to realizing the goal of completing the relocation of the city's administrative center to the North of the Cam River by 2025 as set out in the Resolution of the 16th Party Congress, marking an important turning point in the city's development process after 70 years of liberation.

The projects fully meet the functions of organizing large-scale activities; at the same time, creating a comfortable working environment, facilitating the application of digital technologies in solving work, serving people and businesses better. From there, contributing to building an urban government with a streamlined apparatus, operating effectively and efficiently, aiming to build Hai Phong into a city with a high level of development among the leading cities in Asia and the world by 2045 as the goal set out in Resolution No. 45 of the Politburo on "Building and developing Hai Phong to 2030, vision to 2045".
