In the Mekong Delta region, Ri6 VIP durian costs 60,000 VND/kg, Ri6 type A is 50,000 - 52,000 VND/kg and Ri6 type B durian is 35,000 - 36,000 VND/kg, Ri6 type C is negotiable. Ri6 AB bucket costs 38,000 - 45,000 VND/kg.

VIP Thai durian costs 95,000 VND/kg, grade A Thai durian costs 78,000 - 80,000 VND/kg, grade B Thai durian costs 58,000 - 60,000 VND/kg, grade C Thai durian costs 45,000 - 47,000 VND/kg, and grade AB Thai durian costs 60,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.

Chuong Bo durian type A is priced at 50,000 - 52,000 VND/kg, type B is priced at 30,000 - 32,000 VND/kg, type C is negotiable. Sau Huu durian type A is priced at 70,000 - 75,000 VND/kg, type B is priced at 50,000 - 55,000 VND/kg, type C is negotiable.

In the context of the Vietnamese market having difficulty finding outlets, Thailand is boosting fruit exports, especially durian, through a strategy of leveraging the influence of KOLs in China.

According to The Nation Thailand, a famous KOL with more than 93 million followers on the Kuaishou platform, Taiyuan Lao Ge, will hold a large-scale live-stream sales event. The event is expected to break last year's record of nearly 1 billion baht in durian sales in one day.

Thai Commerce Minister Pichai Naripthaphan said the livestream campaign is part of a national plan to promote the image of high-quality Thai fruits in China, the country's largest durian consumer.

In addition to durian, other fruits such as mangosteen, mango and longan are also promoted in the campaign. At the same time, Thailand is working with China to simplify inspection procedures and expedite customs clearance during peak seasons, ensuring that fruits reach consumers with optimal freshness and value.
