Regarding the painful reality of using e-cigarettes in schools, on January 1, 2025, Vietnam officially banned e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products according to Resolution 173 of the National Assembly.

This decision aims to protect public health, especially that of young people, and demonstrates that children's voices have been heard and their legitimate wishes for a smoke-free environment are coming true.

It can be seen that recently, comprehensive child protection policies have been continuously focused on implementing from health care, education, medical care, prioritizing children in remote areas and ethnic minority areas.
