Gold price plummets, oil price rises, USD at 9-month high

The buying price of 4-digit 9 gold bars at SJC Hanoi was listed at 67.8 million VND per tael and the selling price was 68.52 million VND.

Doji Hanoi listed at 67.8 million VND per tael for buying and 68.6 million VND per tael for selling.

On the world market, the spot gold price on Kitco floor at 9:46 p.m. on September 14, Vietnam time was at 1,906.8 USD per ounce. The futures gold price was traded at 1,927.7 USD per ounce.

The central exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong (VND) and the US Dollar (USD) announced by the State Bank on September 14 was 24,013 VND/USD, an increase of 18 VND compared to the previous day. The USD price at commercial banks increased sharply on September 14. The USD selling price at commercial banks was adjusted to 24,400 VND, the highest level in the past 9 months.

Today's oil prices on the world market continued to increase from 2 weeks ago. World oil prices have reached a 10-month high. Brent oil prices exceeded 93 USD per barrel, WTI oil prices approached 90 USD per barrel.

In the domestic market, the selling prices of gasoline and oil today are applied according to the prices at the management session on the afternoon of September 11 of the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade. Accordingly, gasoline prices remain unchanged, oil prices increase slightly.

Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline is 23,470 VND per liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline is 24,870 VND per liter. The price of diesel oil increased to 23,055 VND per liter, the price of kerosene increased to 23,188 VND per liter, and fuel oil is 17,704 VND per kilogram.
