SJC gold bar price suddenly adjusted down 500,000 VND per tael - Lang Son Newspaper: Latest news on politics, economy, society, culture

After 12 days of inactivity, this morning the price of SJC gold bars was suddenly adjusted by businesses to decrease by 500,000 VND per tael following the downward trend of world gold prices, while gold rings did not fluctuate much.

Domestic SJC gold price was adjusted down by businesses by 500,000 VND per tael in the opening session this morning (September 5), the central exchange rate also decreased by 7 VND.

At 9:10 a.m., Doji Company, Phu Quy Company and Saigon Jewelry Company announced the buying price of SJC gold at 78.5 million VND/tael and the selling price at 80.5 million VND/tael. Thus, since August 20, this brand has just adjusted down.

Meanwhile, the price of gold rings did not fluctuate much. Phu Quy Company listed the price of 999.0 round gold rings at 77.35-78.55 million VND/tael, unchanged. Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the price of smooth round gold rings was listed at 77.38-78.58 million VND/tael (buy/sell), also unchanged.

However, the price of SJC 999.9 gold rings is currently trading around 77.25-78.55 million VND/tael, an increase of 50,000 VND per tael.

In the world, the price of gold fluctuated around 2,497 USD/ounce, up 2 USD/ounce compared to the end of last week. This price when converted is equivalent to 75.30 million VND/tael, cheaper than the domestic SJC brand by about 5.2 million VND/tael.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on September 5 at 24,222 VND/USD, down 7 VND compared to September 4.

With a margin of +/-5%, this morning, Vietcombank bought at 24,660 VND/USD and sold at 25,030 VND/USD, up 15 VND. BIDV listed the USD exchange rate from 24,690-25,030 VND/USD, unchanged from the previous close.

However, VietinBank bought and sold from 24,665-25,005 VND/USD, down 15 VND compared to the previous closing price. Eximbank also decreased by 10 VND, currently trading around 24,640-25,000 VND/USD./.
