(NLDO) – The price of SJC gold bars lost a total of 700,000 VND/tael when the world gold price plummeted at the weekend.
On the morning of November 9, SJC Company listed the price of SJC gold bars at 82 million VND/tael for buying and 85.8 million VND/tael for selling, down 200,000 VND compared to the end of yesterday and "evaporating" a total of 700,000 VND per tael compared to yesterday morning.
Some commercial banks such as ACB and Eximbank traded SJC gold bars at higher prices, buying at 83 million VND/tael and selling at 86 million VND/tael.
The difference in buying and selling prices of gold bars continues to widen from 3 - 3.8 million VND/tael.

The price of SJC gold bars fell sharply following the downward trend of world prices. Meanwhile, the price of 99.99 gold rings and other types of gold jewelry continued to remain high. SJC Company listed the buying price of gold rings at VND82 million/tael and the selling price at VND84.8 million/tael, stable compared to yesterday.
PNJ Company sells plain gold rings for 85.2 million VND; DOJI Group sells at a lower price of 85.15 million VND/tael.
In the international market, the price of gold today decreased again, closing the trading week at 2,684 USD/ounce, down about 22 USD/ounce compared to the previous session. The precious metal on the international market decreased and retreated from the 2,700 USD/ounce zone in the context of the strong increase in the price of the USD after Mr. Donald Trump won the US presidential election.
The USD index on the international market (DXY) continues to maintain a high level, around 104.8 points, despite the US Federal Reserve (FED) having just cut interest rates by 0.25% as part of its roadmap to support economic growth.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 82.4 million VND/tael.
