SJC gold bar price continues to increase
Gold prices today jumped in the domestic market following the strong increase in world prices. In the international market, gold prices are trading at 3,424 USD/ounce, up about 50 USD/ounce compared to the previous session. This is a very strong increase in international gold prices, and also far surpassing the 3,400 USD/ounce mark - exceeding all previous forecasts.
Previously, both analysts and experts expected gold prices to rise this week, but could not break out in the short term. Some even predicted that gold prices could cool down, falling back to around the $3,200/ounce mark.
Gold prices rose amid a cooling of the US dollar index. The US dollar index (DXY) is now at 97.4 points, down a total of about 1.3% compared to last week. According to analysts, the weakening of this currency is one of the main factors driving gold prices.
Currently, the world gold price converted at the listed exchange rate is about 108.7 million VND/tael.
