Gold ring price hits new peak, surpassing 60 million VND/tael

The price of gold rings of all brands today all increased sharply, surpassing the 60 million VND/tael mark (selling), setting a new historical peak.

Specifically, at the end of this afternoon (November 17), the price of Thang Long Dragon gold round ring was listed at Bao Tin Minh Chau at 59.41-60.36 million VND (buy - sell), an increase of 330 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday morning.

Meanwhile, the ring gold price of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) in Ho Chi Minh City was bought at 59.05 million VND/tael and sold at 60.2 million VND/tael, an increase of 350 thousand VND/tael in buying price and up to 400 thousand VND/tael in selling price compared to the closing price yesterday.

Similarly, the price of gold rings of DOJI Gold and Gemstone Group also increased sharply. This afternoon, the price of gold rings was listed by DOJI at 59.15-60.1 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 200 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to the closing price yesterday.

The price of 9999 gold rings, type 1-5 chi, was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) at the end of this afternoon in Ho Chi Minh City at 59.15-60.15 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 300 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to the end of yesterday's session.

The price of 0.5-chi 9999 gold rings is bought and sold by SJC at 59.15-60.25 million VND/tael, also increasing by 300 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to the end of yesterday's session.

The difference between the buying and selling price of gold rings currently fluctuates between 950,000 VND and 1.1 million VND/tael.

Thus, the domestic gold ring price today has reached its highest level ever. Compared to the beginning of the year, the price of SJC gold rings has increased by about 5.95 million VND/tael.

Following the same trend, domestic gold bar prices also increased sharply today.

At the end of today's session, the price of SJC gold bars in Hanoi increased by 200,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday's closing session, trading at 70-70.82 million VND/tael (buying - selling).

DOJI gold bar price today in Hanoi increased by 300 thousand VND/tael in both directions compared to yesterday's closing price, ending the session at 69.95-70.75 million VND/tael.

In the international market, gold prices also increased rapidly today . The price of precious metals increased sharply after the US Department of Labor released data showing that the country's inflation continued to cool down in October.

At 4:07 p.m. on November 17 (Vietnam time), the world spot gold price was at 1,988.7 USD/ounce, up 23.7 USD/ounce compared to last night.

The world gold price converted at the current exchange rate at Vietcombank is over 58.53 million VND/tael (excluding tax and fees), 12.29 million VND/tael lower than the price of SJC gold bars.
