Gold price increases strongly again, surpassing 120 million VND/tael

Early this morning, the world gold price was trading at 3,338 USD/ounce, up 68 USD compared to the lowest level in the trading session last night. At nearly 9:00 a.m., the precious metal was trading at 3,335 USD/ounce, 50 USD/ounce higher than the same time the previous day.

In the domestic market, at the opening session, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company listed the price of SJC gold bars at 118.8 million VND/tael (buy) - 120.8 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 1.3 million VND/tael each way compared to the end of yesterday.

The price of gold rings here is set at 114 million VND/tael (buy) - 117 million VND/tael (sell), 1.5 million VND/tael higher than the previous day each way.

Saigon Jewelry Company Limited also increased the price of gold rings by VND1.5 million/tael each way, up to VND114 million/tael (buy) - VND116.5 million/tael (sell).

Enterprises set SJC gold bars at 118.8 million VND/tael (buy) - 120.8 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 1.3 million VND/tael each way.

Thus, after decreasing by 1-2 million VND/tael for gold rings and 1.5 million VND/tael for SJC gold bars, down to below 120 million VND/tael yesterday, the gold price quickly surpassed this mark.
