Currently, Yamaha Neo's only electric motorbike model is being offered many attractive incentives by Yamaha dealers. Specifically, customers who buy a motorbike from mid-April to May 31, 2025 will receive a battery or a voucher worth 15 million VND (equivalent to 30% of the motorbike's value).
In addition, customers will also receive additional accessories such as helmets, raincoats, etc. However, those who choose the direct discount will not receive a free battery.
After the promotion, the actual selling price of Yamaha Neo's has dropped sharply to about 34 million VND. The above price does not include on-road costs. If taxes, fees, and service charges are added, the price of Neo's is approximately 40 million VND.
Neo's is a domestically assembled electric motorbike model launched by Yamaha Vietnam in late 2022, with only one version priced at 49.1 million VND. Although it received reviews suitable for female customers using it for urban travel, Neo's has not yet created a strong attraction in the market.
This price is considered quite high compared to models in the same segment, with increasing competitive pressure from VinFast electric motorbikes as well as a series of Chinese models... causing Yamaha Neo's sales to not reach expectations.
In addition to VinFast with its diverse products, Honda has also entered the electric vehicle race with the Icon e: model, putting a lot of pressure on Yamaha. This is also the reason why the Yamaha Neo's model has recently received many incentives from the company and dealers.
Yamaha Neo's is equipped with an electric motor located on the rear wheel and a 1,186 kWh lithium ion battery, allowing the vehicle to travel about 72 km after each full charge. The maximum speed of the vehicle is 50 km/h, and the battery charging time is 9 hours.
Neo's design is soft and individual, suitable for female users moving around the city every day.
