Provincial police issued warnings about scams in Cambodia to raise people's vigilance. |
In the letter, Mr. HV H emotionally recounted that on May 6, 2024, his daughter HTKA (born in 2007) was scammed by bad guys on social networks and then sold to Cambodia. In Cambodia, his daughter had to work hard and was treated, oppressed, and beaten badly. With the help of the Thua Thien Hue Police and related units, on August 17, 2024, Mr. H's daughter was safely returned to her family.
Returning home safely and soundly, Mr. H's daughter felt like she had been reborn for the second time. Mr. HV H's family is of the Pa Co ethnic group and their circumstances are difficult. Mr. H did not have the opportunity to go directly to the agencies and units, so he wrote a letter to express his deep gratitude to the Thua Thien Hue Police and other functional units for rescuing his daughter and returning her to her family.
Previously, the provincial police issued a warning on the unit's social networking system to widely inform people, raising vigilance against fraudulent tricks of sending people to Cambodia for forced labor and property extortion.
