After more than 4 months of launching, the Award received 3,328 press works from 171 domestic and international press agencies, 7 Offices of National Assembly Delegations and People's Councils. The Award Judging Council, consisting of prestigious, experienced journalists who work actively, meticulously, impartially and objectively, selected 67 excellent works to award the Award. Specifically: 5 A Prizes, 13 B Prizes, 16 C Prizes, 31 Encouragement Prizes; 2 prizes outside the structure; no Special Prizes. Adding to the belief in justice, in the socialist rule of law State, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, Head of the Award Organizing Committee, assessed that the works participating in the Award showed a vibrant, close and attractive panorama of the activities of the National Assembly in the fields of legislation, supervision, and decision on important national and foreign affairs issues. These are still macro-level decisions of the highest State authority, but all are imbued with the breath of life, originating from life and returning to serve life and the people. The clearest evidence for the innovations and improvements of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels in recent times is that they have been proactive, flexible in adapting, improving the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of supervision activities by implementing 3 Resolutions and conclusions of the National Assembly on supervision. These innovations and improvements have been clearly demonstrated by reporters of the Communist Party Electronic Newspaper in the work "What solutions improve the effectiveness of supervision by the National Assembly". The excellent work won the A Prize in the Electronic Newspaper category. Journalist Pham Thi Ha (Thu Ha), representative of the group of authors, said that the National Assembly has chosen the "hottest" issues, the ones that voters and people are most interested in, to conduct supreme supervision. This has contributed to creating a strong change in both awareness and action in thinking and the way of carrying out monitoring activities, meeting the requirements of voters and people nationwide.

The group of authors spent a lot of time researching documents, data, interviews, comments, listening to National Assembly deputies, experts as well as some citizens... to contribute opinions and have a more multi-dimensional view of the historic innovations of the National Assembly. The series of works also pointed out the shortcomings, limitations, barriers that need to be overcome and have timely solutions to promote the role of the highest representative body of the State; emphasizing the issue of controlling power, building and perfecting the socialist rule of law State of the people, by the people, for the people. People long to see justice enforced, those who have been wrongly convicted cleared by the National Assembly - the highest representative body of the people, the highest State power body. From this reality, journalist Ngo Thi Kim Anh (Vietnam News Agency) has written a series of 5 articles to clarify the effectiveness of supervision in protecting citizens' rights, as well as practical requirements in the current work of preventing and combating wrongful convictions. Through the supervision activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils on the implementation of the law in judicial agencies, many cases have been reviewed, many defendants have been exonerated, escaped from prison, even the death penalty, to return to their families and society. The work won the C prize in the Print Journalism category - Reflection, reportage, investigation, journalistic reportage and interview. According to journalist Kim Anh, the theme "Monitoring wrongful convictions - Protecting justice and human rights" was inspired by the content of Resolution 49-NQ/TW of the Politburo, which assigned the task: "Judicial agencies must truly be the people's support in protecting justice and human rights, and at the same time must be an effective tool to protect the law and socialist legal system, effectively fighting against all types of crimes and violations". Accordingly, justice and human rights are special subjects that the Party aims at and protects. The series of articles has investigated the causes of wrongful convictions, analyzed the consequences of wrongful convictions that have caused tragic situations, people imprisoned, people separated, analyzed measures to overcome wrongful convictions in the application of criminal law and criminal proceedings, promoted the principle of presumption of innocence, and raised the responsibility of those participating in the proceedings. At the same time, emphasize the supervisory role of the National Assembly as a "shield" to protect human rights and personal rights. The supervisory activities of the National Assembly in wrongful convictions in particular, and in legal supervision in general, are like a light for people to shine on, trust, entrust and express their thoughts and aspirations, thereby giving them more faith in justice and in the socialist rule of law state. Timely response to urgent issues "Policy response to urgent requirements" is a story by a group of reporters from the News Department (VOV1), Voice of Vietnam, mentioning the situation of major hospitals in the country lacking equipment and medical supplies necessary for the lives of patients. The work excellently won the A Prize in the Radio category. Journalist Le Thi Thu, News Department (VOV1), representing the group of authors, shared that hospital leaders are looking forward to a standard legal corridor to clear bottlenecks and remove bottlenecks, so that medical facilities can confidently walk on that corridor and confidently take care of patients' health. "What shortcomings have the difficulties and practical problems of the medical sector reflected in the proposals, consultations, policy responses and in the work of drafting legal documents, especially in urgent situations from the requirements of real life? What consequences have, are and will the legal gaps cause and how can we fill those gaps? This is the content we mention in the series of articles", emphasized journalist Le Thi Thu. According to the journalist, the group of reporters from the News Department of VOV1 coordinated to implement the series of articles for about 2 months, recording the difficulties and problems; thereby proposing solutions to the authorities to promptly overcome problems arising in practice. Thereby contributing to accompanying the authorities to "react" promptly to each urgent problem, meeting the people's expectations and wishes. Strongly spreading the Vietnamese spirit

At the first Dien Hong Awards, the Vietnam News Agency Journalists Association (VNA) won 6 awards in the following categories: Print Newspaper - Reflection, reportage, investigation, journalistic writing and interview; Electronic Newspaper; Television; Press Photo. In addition, VNA also won an extra-structure award for outstanding multimedia products: Special information page on the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term. Expressing his joy and emotion when receiving the B prize in the Press Photo Award with the work "Mobile Ballot Box", journalist Bui Cuong Quyet (Minh Quyet) said that in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak in 2021, assigned to monitor the medical sector and appointed as one of the key reporters specializing in monitoring the epidemic, he was often present at "hot spots" to promptly record images and accurate information, and also witnessed the hard work of the medical team; difficulties in quarantine areas... In particular, the information line about the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term that left the most impression on him was the information line about the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term, taking place at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic was complicated in Vietnam and around the world.
After being assigned by the leader to create an information line about voters who are patients and their relatives exercising their rights and obligations as citizens to vote in the hospital, journalist Bui Cuong Quyet contacted Bach Mai Hospital to work. With the help and support of the hospital's staff and the election team of Bach Mai ward, he took pictures of voters who are staff, patients, and their relatives coming to the polling stations to exercise their rights and obligations as citizens. In particular, in the case of seriously ill patients being treated, the grassroots election team arranged mobile ballot boxes in the patient's room to ensure the rights and obligations of citizens. The work not only conveyed the profound meaning of the historic election taking place during the unprecedented difficult time of the COVID-19 pandemic, but also strongly spread the Vietnamese spirit and vitality. In addition to works that truly and deeply reflect the innovations in the organization and operation of the National Assembly, many entries also mention pressing issues of life and timely, special, and unprecedented decisions of the National Assembly to resolve and remove urgent difficulties of the economy, support people and businesses to overcome the severe impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the complicated and unpredictable developments of the international situation. Among them, it is impossible not to mention the series of articles "Sweet Fruit" in 2022: Important marks of the right decisions", a group of reporters from the electronic newspaper of VietnamPlus (Vietnam News Agency), won the B prize of the first Dien Hong Electronic Newspaper Award. Journalist Nguyen Thi My Binh, representing the group of authors, said that the COVID-19 pandemic has left many serious "sequelae" not only on human health, but also caused "fatal cuts" to the global economy as well as the developing economy of Vietnam. In difficulties, bravery is shown. With the leadership of the Party, a dynamic, innovative National Assembly, taking drastic actions for the people, and the flexible and responsible management of the Government, a series of policies were quickly issued and promptly put into practice, neutralizing the impacts of the pandemic, bringing about great results in terms of economy, society and epidemic prevention. And in that context, Resolution 43/2022/QH15 has "breathed new life into the air," adding strength to the Government to realize the Party's wise policies and guidelines, contributing to Vietnam's strong recovery in 2022. The promulgation of this Resolution is an effort with the highest sense of responsibility of the National Assembly under the drastic direction of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue - that is, how all policies of the Party and State can be effective, going straight to supporting the "wallets" of businesses and people in the post-pandemic recovery period. Journalist Nguyen Thi My Binh emphasized that with the series of articles, the group of reporters of VietnamPlus e-newspaper wishes to bring to readers practical perspectives to better understand the "initiative" called Resolution 43 as well as the implementation process that is very drastic, positive, proactive and creative from the National Assembly, the Government to ministries, branches, localities, businesses and the whole society so that the resolution can truly be effective in life and society. The article once again affirms that Resolution 43 of the National Assembly with correct, accurate solutions and timely promulgation as a tonic has helped "unblock" the entire economy, creating a positive effect to help the market flourish after a long period of being suppressed by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the efforts of each enterprise - the cells of the economy, that have helped spread the impact of a correct decision, contributing significantly to resolving challenges and difficulties, becoming opportunities for the economy to adapt flexibly and continuously grow and develop sustainably in the next period. It can be seen that with a sense of responsibility, enthusiasm, dedication and a deep, comprehensive understanding of the organization and operation of elected agencies and elected representatives, journalists always closely follow the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, playing a good role as a "bridge" between the National Assembly and the people, continuing to accompany the National Assembly, the agencies of the National Assembly, the People's Councils. people to effectively carry out the mission of "serving the people".
