OCB "leads" in digital transformation with a series of modern financial solutions

As one of the "leading" banks in digital transformation with systematic and professional system investment, building a solid foundation many years ago, at the 2025 banking digital transformation event, OCB continues to introduce superior financial products, tailored to the needs of each customer segment such as OCB OMNI, digital bank for young people Liobank, especially the OCB Smart Merchant platform - Comprehensive smart payment and sales management solution, designed specifically for merchants, especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

With OCB OMNI, launched in May 2024, this platform has set a new standard in the digital banking sector in Vietnam in terms of speed and convenience. Liobank Digital Bank – Smart Financial Solution for Gen Z

Particularly for modern young customers, Liobank digital bank has demonstrated its pioneering role in effectively implementing digital solutions, shaping new habits for customers in this segment. Right from its launch, Liobank has left an impression on users through a series of unique transfer operations such as Shake to pay - shake the phone to transfer money, transfer money in response to the person who transferred money without knowing the account number and transfer money to friends who have a Liobank account in the phone book. In addition, the bank also provides a diverse and modern set of payment devices such as POSM QRcode, QR POS, Smart POS, POS... especially the QR Soundbox payment device that immediately notifies when the transaction is successful, including the amount and payment method, suitable for both small stores and large-scale retail chains.

Not only stopping at payment activities, OCB Smart Merchant also integrates in-depth financial management tools such as real-time cash flow tracking, business performance analysis, order management, revenue, costs... These tools support sellers to make decisions faster and more accurately. In particular, the platform also supports multi-branch cash flow management, allowing business owners to share balance fluctuation information with branch staff/managers, or allow custom access rights, ensuring revenue security for each business area. Integrating payment solutions on the same platform helps businesses automate the reconciliation, refund, payment confirmation and debt clearance processes, reducing manual processing time by up to 97%.

In the next phase, OCB Smart Merchant will deploy the integration of electronic invoices generated from cash registers connected to transfer data to tax authorities, ensuring complete reporting, accurate tax calculation and more convenient tax payment support. To date, OCB is one of the leading units providing solutions for issuing electronic invoices directly on the sales management platform. This is extremely important, helping businesses with revenue of 1 billion VND/year or more to easily comply with the new regulations in Decree 70/2025/ND-CP without any additional complicated operations.

For example, flexible capital advances for sellers based on actual cash flow or implementing a buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) model right on the seller's own sales platform. These solutions not only help sellers optimize cash flow and accelerate business, but also contribute to building a closed financial ecosystem between sellers and buyers. In particular, this digital solution can also be integrated with a knowledge library feature, where users can access and update knowledge about operations, marketing, finance, etc. This feature is specially designed to interact through AI Chatbot, helping businesses quickly search for information and receive advice according to their needs.
