The "Honoring the Inspirer" award is initiated and implemented by SABECO in collaboration with Dai Doan Ket newspaper, under the guidance and support of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
The organizers expect the program to spread positive values through 150 inspiring, authentic, and relatable stories – stories that awaken patriotism, a sense of civic responsibility, and aspirations for development, especially among the younger generation. At the same time, the award contributes to strengthening national unity by connecting different social strata, regions, and professions, all working towards a prosperous, civilized, and compassionate Vietnam.

Each participant, after registering with their email address, is allowed to vote once for each candidate and can vote for multiple different candidates throughout the duration of the program.

Discovering the "inspirers" in 6 fields
Following the implementation process by the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at the central and provincial levels, the program has compiled a list of nominees from across the provinces and cities.
From that list, the Central Appraisal Council screened, evaluated, and selected 150 "inspiring figures" who have made positive contributions in 6 fields.
Education and Vocational Training: Honoring individuals who contribute to enhancing community capacity through vocational training, soft skills development, career guidance, or providing learning opportunities for disadvantaged communities.
Environmental sustainability: Honoring individuals who take initiative and action for the environment, conserve natural resources, and practice sustainable lifestyles and production methods.
Balanced Lifestyles and Community Health: Celebrating individuals who contribute to promoting active, balanced lifestyles and fostering a culture of holistic health and community responsibility.
Community development: Honoring individuals who partner with the community through projects or initiatives that create positive change and help develop the cultural life of rural areas.
Culture, arts, and sports for the community: Honoring individuals who have made practical contributions to preserving national identity, traditional culture, or promoting artistic creativity and folk artisans; individuals with initiatives or sports projects that contribute to promoting solidarity, building spirit, improving health, and encouraging a positive lifestyle.
Science and Technology for the Community: Honoring technological and applied science initiatives that support sustainable development for local communities.
70% of the points come from online voting results and 30% from the evaluation of the Central Judging Panel.
Fifteen "inspirational figures" will be selected and honored at the Gala Night held in Hanoi.

Speaking at SABECO's recent 150th anniversary celebration, Mr. Lester Tan, General Director of SABECO, said that a legacy is not only built on quality products, but also on dedication and heart. And SABECO's heart always beats strongest for the community.
"For the past 150 years, our success has been measured not only by profit, but also by the positive values we bring to the communities around us," he said.
As proof of its commitment to supporting national development goals through practical actions aimed at the community, SABECO is collaborating on the implementation of the "Honoring the Inspirer" Award. This is one of three outstanding activities of SABECO, within the framework of the "150 Years of Heritage Reaching New Heights" campaign, on the occasion of SABECO's 150th anniversary in Vietnam.
With six award categories linked to SABECO's pillars of sustainable development, Mr. Lester Tan sees this as a continuation of the legacy of previous generations, while also creating momentum for new advancements for the country in the future.
Highly appreciating SABECO's initiative, Mr. Vu Van Tien, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said that the unit shares SABECO's vision in recognizing and honoring the silent contributions of Vietnamese people. The award is significant in spreading the examples of ordinary yet noble role models in the community. These are positive stories that awaken good human values and inspire the younger generation to build a more progressive and better society.
