National U19 Tournament 2024: Hanoi shares points with HAGL

The match between U19 Hanoi and U19 HAGL is the most notable match of the afternoon round of February 22 when the two top quality youth training teams of Vietnamese football compete.

Entering the match, Hanoi created an advantageous position and had many notable attacks. Meanwhile, HAGL showed a fiery, fast playing style with Bron A Lui and Moi Se.

Dong A Thanh Hoa qualified with an impressive record and they continued to prove their strength in Group B. After a goalless first half, the Thanh team continued to attack and caused Phu Yen many difficulties. In the last 15 minutes of the match, Coach Vu Van Chung's students scored 2 goals in a row and won with a score of 2-0. This result helped Dong A Thanh Hoa lead Group B after the first round of matches.

The first round of Group C saw many goals scored. Song Lam Nghe An with a squad of quality young players quickly took the lead against Binh Phuoc . In the 45+3 minute, Long Vu opened the score for the Nghe team. In the second half, Van Nam and Quoc Khanh scored to help SLNA win the first match with a score of 3-0.

In the remaining match of this group, The Cong Viettel faced Khanh Hoa. The Phong's opening goal in the 36th minute helped the army team have an easier game. In the 45+1 minute, Kim Huy helped The Cong Viettel take a 2-goal lead. In the second half, no more goals were scored and the victory belonged to Cong Phuong and his teammates.
