The 2025 Asian Muay Championship will take place in Thai Nguyen from June 20 to 26.

On June 16, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province held a press conference to officially announce information about the 2025 Asian Muay Thai Championship. The event attracted the attention of the martial arts community and many representatives of central and local news agencies and newspapers.

The 2025 Asian Muay Championship will take place from June 20 to 26 at Thai Nguyen Provincial Sports Gymnasium.

The tournament brings together nearly 400 coaches, athletes, referees and team leaders from 25 Asian countries and territories.

Athletes will compete in 28 weight classes and 8 technical performance events.

The Vietnamese sports delegation participated with 59 members, including 50 athletes, of which Thai Nguyen province contributed 6 athletes.

A special highlight of the tournament was thePresident 's Awarding Ceremony of the Labor Medal to 4 outstanding Muay athletes, in which athlete Tran Thi Anh Tuyet (Thai Nguyen Province Sports Training and Competition Center) was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal.

This is the first time Thai Nguyen province has hosted a continental sports tournament, marking an important step forward in the locality's strategy for sports, culture and international integration development.

Not only is it a regional sporting event, the tournament is also an opportunity to promote the image of Thai Nguyen, a dynamic and culturally rich place, to international friends.

As the host, Thai Nguyen province has been proactive and methodical in preparing from facilities, competition equipment, medical, security, communications to logistics to serve the athletes and visitors, all of which have been deployed synchronously according to international standards set by the Asian Muay Federation. Subcommittees serving the tournament have been established and tasks have been clearly assigned.

The 2025 Asian Muay Thai Championship promises to be a top sporting event, bringing together talent, sportsmanship and solidarity among countries in the region.
