Meey Group's Strategic Director: Belief and aspiration are Meey Group's IPO baggage

Meey Group has just received 2 awards at ASEAN Award 2025. How do you evaluate this achievement?

- “Pride” and “trust” are the emotions that remain after the business trip. ASEAN Award emphasizes economic development associated with environmental protection and social responsibility. The fact that Meey Group and its Chairman Hoang Mai Chung were honored as “Top 10 ASEAN Outstanding Brands” and “Top 10 ASEAN Leaders” is a clear demonstration of the steadfast journey of innovation and sustainability that we pursue.

What does this award mean to Meey Group?

- The award ceremony took place on the occasion of 30 years since Vietnam joined ASEAN. According to Cento Ventures, Vietnam is in the top 3 most dynamic startup ecosystems in Southeast Asia, after Indonesia and Singapore. The appearance of Meey Group at this award opens up great opportunities for us in international cooperation and attracting investment.

The ecosystem of more than 26 proptech products - from Meey Land, Meey Map, Meey CRM, Meey 3D to Meey Atlas - developed by a team of young engineers has been solving core problems of data, pricing, and transaction processes, contributing to building a sustainable market.

Why did you decide to join Meey Group?

- I see Meey Group as a “young” startup but full of aspirations and ambitions. After 15 years of studying and working in France, I chose to return to work with Mr. Hoang Mai Chung and his colleagues to build a competitive technology company and aim for an international IPO.

Most of our staff are from the 9X generation, with the Gen Z spirit - quick, creative, and daring to be different. The message I always remind my teammates: "There is no such thing as regret. The important thing is whether you dare to do it and believe in what you do."

Global reach with international IPO strategy

Going public at the same time as raising capital on the international stock market is not easy. So what can the youth in the story you just told bring to Meey Group's upcoming IPO strategy?

- The youthful factor brings agility in processing information, seizing opportunities and making decisions - something that strategic investors always look for when evaluating startups. With Meey Group, we put our trust in a team of young, creative engineers and experts who can create different products and gain the trust of the market.

The core value of a technology company lies not in its physical assets, but in its data, algorithms, brand, and user community. To reach the top, a company must demonstrate its management capacity, business model, and sustainable value.

In the context of the lack of data in the Vietnamese real estate market, Meey Group focuses on two sources of revenue: providing data and valuation for financial institutions and collecting service fees from individual users. We have also built a professional, transparent, IFRS-compliant governance model with the support of PwC over the past 3 years. Sustainability is the prerequisite for Meey Group to conquer investors and gradually position itself as an international brand.

Regarding Meey Group's IPO roadmap, can you share more specifically about the company's plans?

- Since its establishment, Meey Group Chairman Hoang Mai Chung has determined the international IPO roadmap. Accordingly, in the 2021-2023 period, we will focus on building a core product ecosystem (Meey CRM, Meey Ads, Meey Land...) and perfecting the domestic market. In the 2024-2025 period, Meey Group will cooperate with international auditing and legal organizations to standardize governance, while testing new products to increase competitive advantages. Particularly in the 2025-2026 period, the company will submit IPO documents to Nasdaq and organize a Pre-IPO roadshow to connect with international investors.

In July 2025, Meey Group signed a contract with ARC Group - one of the global financial consulting groups - to accompany the entire IPO process, from business valuation to legal and financial consulting. We believe that with ARC Group's extensive network, Meey Group will not only have an advantage in IPO but also open up opportunities to cooperate with many "big guys" in the fields of proptech, fintech and real estate.
