Director of Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology works with Kim Thanh commune leaders on operating two-level local government

On the afternoon of November 12, comrade Pham Van Thep, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong inspected the operation of the two-level local government and awarded Party badges on September 2 and November 7 at Kim Thanh commune.

During this period, Kim Thanh Commune Party Committee had 36 party members receiving Party badges from 30 to 70 years of Party age.

Comrade Pham Van Thep, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, presented Party badges to elderly Party members in Kim Thanh commune.

Awarding the Party Badges to the Party members, Comrade Pham Van Thep respectfully acknowledged the contributions of the senior Party members to the Party's ideals, to the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland. He hoped that the Party members receiving the Party Badges would continue to uphold the exemplary spirit, promote the revolutionary qualities and qualities of Party members, and actively participate in contributing their efforts and intelligence to build the homeland of Kim Thanh to become more and more developed.

At the working session with the leaders of Kim Thanh commune, the Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong highly appreciated the results of the operation of the local government at two levels, the local economy grew quite well, the budget revenue increased by an average of 17.5%/year compared to the plan assigned by the city. In particular, the site clearance work at Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park, phase 1, has achieved many positive results, reclaiming land in 7 villages, paying compensation to nearly 1,000 households, and is expected to hand over 100 hectares of land this month.

He suggested that the Party Committee and People's Committee of Kim Thanh commune in the coming time should continue to focus on implementing key tasks: Improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization; building a contingent of cadres and Party members with qualities, abilities and prestige; strengthening the great national unity bloc; promoting socio-economic development, ensuring security and national defense, striving to complete the targets and tasks of 2025.
