On the afternoon of May 15, the People's Council of Bao Lam district organized a supervision of the implementation of health law policies at the district Social Insurance (SI).

According to the report of the district Social Insurance, in 2022, the number of ethnic minorities participating in health insurance (HI) was 64,492 people, reaching 100.93% of the plan. In 2023, the number of people participating in HI was 67,264 people, reaching 102.7% of the plan. In 2024, 67,293 people participated in HI, reaching 100.2% of the target assigned by the provincial Social Insurance. The management and use of the HI fund from 2022 to present has always had a surplus, ensuring the balance of the HI fund for medical examination and treatment.

Appreciating the efforts of the Social Insurance Agency, the monitoring team acknowledged the proposed opinions of the District Social Insurance. In the coming time, the monitoring team will advise the District People's Council to direct the People's Councils of communes and towns to re-count the situation of health insurance participation in hamlets; continue to carry out the propaganda work on social insurance and health insurance policies, striving to achieve the target of social insurance and health insurance coverage by the end of 2024.
