10th grade exam supervisor missteps and has to be hospitalized

During the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City this morning, a supervisor tripped from the podium to the floor and had to go to the emergency room.

Information from the exam site of Ngo Chi Quoc Secondary School (Thu Duc City), this morning (June 6) in exam room 24, the female supervisor (a teacher at Linh Trung High School) when stepping down from the podium, slipped and suffered severe pain.

Immediately after that, the exam center took the teacher to the hospital for emergency treatment. The police and exam room supervisors accompanied her, because the exam papers had already been opened. It was predicted that the teacher had a broken leg.

At the same time, the exam site immediately added another invigilator to replace him and made a record of abnormalities in the exam room.

At Ngo Chi Quoc Secondary School, there are 31 exam rooms with 748 candidates. At this exam site, a candidate broke his right arm. His parents applied for special support and were arranged in a backup exam room.

Candidates with broken arms must be given a separate room.

This candidate will have 2 invigilators and 1 test writing assistant (a teacher with a different subject than the candidate's current exam). The candidate's exam room will be equipped with an additional surveillance camera and audio and video recording equipment to record the entire test taking process.

The 10th grade public school entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City for the 2025-2026 school year took place on June 6 and 7, with 76,435 candidates registering for the exam, a decrease of more than 27,000 compared to last year.

Ho Chi Minh City arranged 142 examination sites (132 regular sites, 10 specialized sites) with 3,277 examination rooms. The whole industry mobilized 9,548 teachers to invigilate the exams and 1,846 support staff.

The expected exam marking time is June 8-25. The exam scores, benchmark scores and review time will be announced later by the Department of Education and Training, based on the actual marking progress and processing of results.

The 10th grade admission score is the sum of three subjects, plus priority and incentive points (if any). For specialized classes, the formula is the sum of the three above subjects with coefficient 1, plus the specialized subject score with coefficient 2.
