- On the evening of May 1, at Hung Vuong Street Stage (Chi Lang Ward, Lang Son City), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Folk Song Preservation Association jointly organized a mass art exchange program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and International Labor Day, May 1. The program is a practical cultural activity to review the heroic historical tradition, arouse national pride and patriotism among the people.
The program took place with 14 performances by artisans and non-professional actors from cultural units, folk song preservation associations, Then singing and Sli singing clubs in the province. The music, dance, scene, solo singing, group singing, etc. were elaborately staged, with sweet and affectionate folk songs praising the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho, the heroic fighting spirit, gratitude to heroic martyrs, as well as the nation's aspirations for peace and development.
Through the program, the Organizing Committee hopes to spread sacred historical values,educate revolutionary traditions to today's generation, and at the same time affirm the role of mass art in preserving and promoting national cultural identity.
As planned, the program will continue to take place on the evenings of May 2 and 3, with a variety of performances such as: dancing, singing, zumba, folk dancing, then singing, dancing and many other special contents... The program is also an opportunity for units to exchange, learn, and promote the role of mass culture in building a rich and healthy spiritual life at the grassroots level.
