Special Vietnamese cultural and artistic exchange

VHO - On the afternoon of October 25 in Pakse city, Champasak province, the Vietnamese Cultural Center in Laos, in coordination with the Vietnamese Consulate General in Pakse, the Lao Front for National Construction in Champasak province and the Vietnamese Association in Champasak province, organized a cultural and artistic exchange program praising the image of President Ho Chi Minh and the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

Attending the program were Consul General Nguyen Van Trung; Mr. Som-bun Huong-vong-sa, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Governor, Chairman of the Laos - Vietnam Friendship Association of Champasak Province, Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Association of Champasak Province and a large number of Lao officials, students and overseas Vietnamese in Pakse City, Champasak Province.

Artists from the Vietnam Drama Theater and the Department of Culture, Information and Tourism of Champasak province performed art pieces praising the Laos-Vietnam friendship, the image of President Ho Chi Minh, and introducing the country and people of Vietnam. In particular, artists from the Vietnam Drama Theater performed the play Bright Eyes with meaningful content about the day President Ho Chi Minh visited the " Hanoi School for Disabled War Veterans", encouraging "Disabled but not useless war veterans", raising the movement of war veterans to work, produce, study, be useful people and contribute to society.

The art program has contributed to spreading and conveying the image of President Ho Chi Minh and the meaning of the special Vietnam - Laos relationship to the community and Lao friends, thereby connecting the local Vietnamese community with the homeland, continuing to nurture the Vietnam - Laos relationship to be forever green and forever sustainable.
