Introducing the new book in the Ho Chi Minh Heritage series

Specifically, the book title "Uncle Ho with the People's Public Security of Vietnam" includes 4 contents: Public Security - The right arm of the totalitarian state; Our Public Security is the People's Public Security; The qualifications of a revolutionary Public Security; Uncle Ho with the People's Public Security - The People's Public Security with Uncle Ho.

Throughout his revolutionary career, President Ho Chi Minh always had special affection and close attention for the police force. He requested: “The People's Police must be exemplary, must be the ones who are responsible for implementing the policies and guidelines of the Party and the Government well. The People's Police must truly serve the people.”

According to Him, “The qualities of a revolutionary police officer are: Towards oneself, one must be diligent, frugal, honest and upright. Towards colleagues, one must be friendly and helpful. Towards the Government , one must be absolutely loyal. Towards the people, one must be respectful and polite. Towards work, one must be devoted. Towards the enemy, one must be resolute and clever.”

The six teachings of Uncle Ho sound very simple, rustic, concise, easy to understand, easy to remember, but contain extremely profound and rich contents, fully demonstrating the revolutionary and scientific significance; theory and practice; qualities and capacities of the cadres and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Public Security; are the "compass" for all activities of the People's Public Security force in the cause of fighting for national liberation, building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

Through historical periods, especially in the current period, the patriotic emulation movement whose core is "Studying and practicing Uncle Ho's six teachings" has truly contributed greatly to building a clean and strong police force.

The book "Uncle Ho with major holidays and anniversaries of the year" compiled by author Tran Van Phuong includes 50 events in chronological order of date and month of the year in our country.
