The Reading Festival series is part of GNI's "Developing a Reading Culture" project, launched in 2016, to encourage students to form reading habits and access knowledge through creative extracurricular activities.
In Tan Lac district (Hoa Binh province), the festival with the theme "Reading books today, leading the way to tomorrow" took place with exciting activities such as: displaying books by theme, creating new content from works, open reading space...

In Son Duong district (Tuyen Quang province), the book reading festival with the theme "Entering the era of national growth with books" was held on April 19, 2025 at Dong Quy Primary School, attracting a large number of students to participate. The students were introduced to paintings of classic literary works and famous historical figures of the nation from the "Brilliant Vietnam" contest; stories and poems written by students in the "Magical book pages" contest; and participated in the free reading area.

In Quang Binh district (Ha Giang province), on April 21, 2025, GNI organized a Reading Culture Festival combined with a Career Guidance and Future Orientation program, attracting nearly 2,400 students in the district to participate. The event has a dual effect of both providing career guidance knowledge and inspiring a love of reading and a spirit of self-study, contributing to building a positive learning environment, aiming at comprehensive and sustainable development for students.

On the same day, in Hoa Binh city, GNI coordinated with schools to organize a Reading Festival at Yen Mong Primary and Secondary School and Thai Thinh Primary and Secondary School. These are two schools located in the outskirts of the city, where students rarely have the opportunity to participate in creative extracurricular programs. The festival became a useful intellectual "playground", helping students interact directly with books, thereby arousing their love of reading and developing soft skills such as communication and critical thinking.
“After participating in the book festival, I feel like I have entered a new world, where each page opens up different horizons of knowledge and emotions. I will spend more time reading books and sharing with my friends the knowledge I have acquired,” said Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, an 8th grade student at Yen Mong Primary and Secondary School (Hoa Binh City).
The festivals have contributed to spreading the reading culture in schools and at the same time concretizing GNI's commitments to building a positive educational environment. Through creative activities, GNI hopes to inspire, form reading habits and encourage students to proactively access knowledge, contributing to self-improvement and community development.
