This is also an important step in integrating Japanese culture with the World Heritage space of Vietnam, creating a spiritual bridge between the two countries.
At the ceremony, 7 Vietnamese Yosakoi clubs and 5 clubs from Japan brought colorful and energetic performances, with the message "Heritage is not only memory, but also a creative platform and connection to the future".

After Ninh Binh, the Vietnam Yosakoi Festival 2025 will continue to be performed in Hanoi until April 27, 2025.
According to the Festival Organizing Committee, Yosakoi dance originated in Japan, born after World War II, when Japan was facing a serious crisis and difficulties. In that situation, the Japanese people created Yosakoi dance - a joyful, vibrant dance, bringing optimism and positive energy. With strong movements and smiles always on the lips, Yosakoi attracted a large number of participants and quickly spread throughout Japan, becoming an indispensable part of the unique culture of the land of the rising sun. After that, Yosakoi was loved and popularized in many countries around the world. |
