What do Vietnamese people search for most on Google in 2023?

According to Google representatives, 9 typical search categories, divided into specific topics: "Search about AI", " Sports ", "Games", "Travel", "Movies", "How to", "Recipes", "Definition - What is" and "Nearby places" reflect the interests and search trends of Vietnamese people in 2023.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has become one of the hot topics in recent years.

Next, "football" and "mobile games" dominate the sports and games topics. Searches about football account for 9/10 of the top sports topics searched by Vietnamese people. Notably, the biggest sporting event in Southeast Asia - "SEA Games 32" ranked 4th on the list.

Searches for domestic tourist attractions account for half of the top 10 most searched locations. The 5 domestic destinations are not located in big cities but are more inclined towards nature-based tourism, including: "Ha Giang Tourism", "Can Tho Tourism", "Phu Quoc Tourism", "Con Phung Tourism", "Buon Ma Thuot Tourism".

For international tourist destinations, Vietnamese tourists show a tendency to choose locations that are close and have many cultural similarities, including "Taiwan Tourism", "Thailand Tourism", "Bali Tourism" and "Singapore Malaysia Tourism" which are also among the most popular destinations.

Vietnamese people also showed special attention to Vietnamese films in 2023, with 6/10 domestic films appearing on the list.

According to Google, the "How to" and "What is" lists show that users searched a lot about "how to get level 2 identification" and "what is VNEID personal identification number" in 2023.

Users also update information on hot national topics such as "what is renewable energy", and are interested in issues that directly affect their health such as "what is botulinum", "what is respiratory failure".

The topic "Recipes" shows that Vietnamese people search for ways to make traditional Vietnamese dishes, such as "banh chung recipe", "beef stew recipe", "bun bo hue recipe". People are also more interested in making healthy dishes themselves, such as "nut milk recipe", "healthy recipes".

Meanwhile, the "Recent" keyword list also shows the essential needs for food, health, and relaxation in the daily lives of Vietnamese people, such as searching for "good cardiologist nearby", "soursop tea nearby", "healthy hair washing nearby".

It can be said that Google Search has continued to be the tool that Vietnamese users use to look up and update the latest news about all aspects of life.
