The event is not only a milestone marking the birth of a club connecting people who love the traditional Vietnamese ao dai in the land of the rising sun, but also a place for Vietnamese people to preserve, promote and spread the beauty of the ao dai to all five continents.
Attending the club's launching ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh, Deputy Ambassador, Embassy of Vietnam in Japan and officials of the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan; Dr. Dang Thi Bich Lien, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Honorary President of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club.
Also attending the event were representatives of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club in Ho Chi Minh City and Dak Lak; artists; famous ao dai designers and especially the participation of a large number of the public, people who love ao dai and Vietnamese culture.
Ao dai is not only the traditional costume of Vietnamese people, but also a symbol of delicate beauty, grace and national pride. Through the history of development with many ups and downs, up to now, Ao dai has always been an indispensable part of important events of Vietnamese people, at home and abroad.
The launching event of the Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Club in Tokyo, Japan brought many special impressions and emotions. The image of graceful Vietnamese Ao Dai fluttering in the space of the modern, developed capital Tokyo will continue to extend the pride, honor and multiply the love for the homeland's Ao Dai.
The establishment of the Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Club in Tokyo, Japan is recognized not only as a step forward in preserving and promoting the beauty and value of traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai, but also as a cultural bridge between Vietnam and Japan.
Dr. Dang Thi Bich Lien congratulated the launching event of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club in Tokyo, Japan; and expressed her belief that the establishment of the Club will continue to spread and promote the beauty of the Ao Dai heritage to international friends, through many meaningful and sustainable activities that the Club will implement in the coming time.
Club President, Ms. Ngo Thi Bich Hanh, said that through many inspirational activities that will be organized by the Club in the coming time, Club members will strive to spread the image of Vietnamese culture and Ao Dai to the Japanese people and international friends.
Within the framework of the activities at the Club's launching ceremony, the public in Tokyo also enjoyed many artistic performances imbued with Vietnamese cultural colors, with the highlight being the Ao Dai and traditional cultural values that have been preserved and promoted by Vietnamese people through many generations.
