GSM provides VinFast electric cars for ASEAN Ministerial Conference on Disaster Management

On October 4, 2023, in Hanoi, Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM) signed a contract to lease VinFast electric cars with Century Development of Trade and Tourism Company Limited (DCT) - the organizer of the 11th ASEAN Ministerial Conference on Disaster Management. The selection of electric cars for the Summit on Disaster Management strongly affirms the message of combating climate change, reducing emissions and managing natural disasters of the host country Vietnam.

According to the signed contract, DCT Company will rent 26 VinFast VF 8 electric cars from GSM Company to serve the 11th ASEAN Ministerial Conference on Disaster Management, the 43rd Annual Meeting of the ASEAN Committee on Disaster Management and related meetings chaired by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam.

26 VF 8 vehicles will serve the activities taking place within the framework of the Conference, held from October 9 to October 13, 2023 in Quang Ninh . All vehicles have luxurious black paint, modern design, many smart driving assistance and entertainment technologies, powerful transmission systems, controlled by professional drivers from GSM, ensuring a safe and comfortable travel experience for international guests.

Immediately after the signing ceremony between GSM and DCT, the VinFast VF 8 car batch was quality tested and tested to ensure it best met the requirements of the organizing committee.

Previously, in September 2023, VinFast VF 8 electric car was selected as the official means of transport at the 16th ASEAN Ministers on Information (AMRI), the 7th ASEAN Ministers on Information + 3 (AMRI + 3) and related Senior Officials' Meetings chaired by the Ministry of Information and Communications in Da Nang.

The fact that VinFast electric cars are continuously used as official means of transportation at high-level international events is of great significance, both in conveying the message of environmental support, especially at the ASEAN Ministerial Conference on Disaster Management, and in affirming the pride of Vietnam’s national brand to international friends./.
