Ha Giang stimulates tourism, reduces service prices from 10

BHG - In order to recover from natural disasters, the Provincial Tourism Association has implemented a tourism stimulus program, reducing prices from 10 - 30% on services at businesses and hotels, creating the best conditions to attract tourists to Ha Giang.

H'Mong Village Resort, Dong Ha Commune (Quan Ba) is one of the units participating in the discount program to stimulate tourism.

To help maintain the business activities of restaurants, hotels, tour operators, and tourist routes in the province after the difficult period due to natural disasters, storms and floods, and to improve service quality, diversify products for tourists, and create stable jobs for workers, the Provincial Tourism Association has called on members and tourism businesses to respond to the stimulus program, reducing service prices by 10 - 30%. The implementation period is from mid-September 2024 to the end of the peak tourist season in early February 2025. Although it has just started, many hotels and accommodation establishments have participated in the discount program such as: H'Mong Village Resort (Quan Ba); Phoenix Hotel and Yen Bien Luxury Hotel ( Ha Giang city)... The Provincial Tourism Association currently has more than 100 member units, the discount program for tourist groups is one of the solutions to recover, develop, and ensure the goal of tourism growth in the coming time.

Since the beginning of the year, the province has welcomed 2,468,000 visitors, of which 290,584 are international visitors and 2,177,416 are domestic visitors, up 14.3% over the same period, reaching 77.1% of the 2024 plan. Total revenue from tourism is estimated at VND 6,120 billion. However, in September 2024, the number of visitors to the province reached 243,000, down 5.4% over the same period last year. Currently, all conditions for tourism activities are guaranteed to be safe and smooth, meeting the needs of domestic and foreign visitors to visit and explore the province's famous and attractive tourist spaces.
