The Vietnamese team played aggressively and won 1-0 against the Indonesian team in the highlight match of Group B of the 2024 ASEAN Cup (AFF Cup).

Nguyen Quang Hai shone to play the role of a player when he scored the only goal to help the "Golden Star Warriors" win all the joy in Viet Tri ( Phu Tho ).

This result helped the Vietnamese team have their first victory against Indonesia after a series of three consecutive losses against this opponent.

Coach Kim Sang-sik's team now has 6 points after two wins, surpassing Indonesia (4 points) to climb to the top of the table. Vietnam is also playing one match less than the team from the land of ten thousand countries.

This achievement helps the Vietnamese team get closer to winning a ticket to the semi-finals of the AFF Cup 2024.

Also in the third match, despite their best efforts, the Laos team could only manage a 1-1 draw against the Philippines at home.
